Exotic Hunts
Exotic hunts can be conducted year round and we have access to 50 plus species from all over the world. PBGSO has access to over 20 of the finest exotic hunting ranches in Texas. We offer exotics such as Axis, Black Buck, Fallow, Sika, Bison, Elk, Nilgai, and Aoudad free ranging for those of you that do not wish to hunt in a high fence. However all of the high fenced ranches we hunt are sizable averaging about 2000 + acres. If you are under the impression exotic hunts are canned hunts this is not the case or at least not with PBGSO. Exotic hunts are very challenging and every hunt we offer is fair chase.
The way we conduct our exotic hunts is we charge a daily guide fee of $200.00 per day per hunter all inclusive. Then each exotic harvested or wounded has an additional trophy fee. Non hunting guests will be charged $100.00 per day per guest all inclusive and are always welcome to tag along. To book exotic hunts we require a deposit of your daily guide fee times the number of days you wish to hunt. All trophy fees acquired while hunting will be due at the end of your hunt. If you do not see the animal you are looking for in our price list that does not mean we do not offer this animal please let us know and we will get you a price.
Exotic hunts are always conducted in the manner you choose. Spot and stalk, safari style, glassing, still hunting, and blind hunting are the most common methods. We allow you to use rifle, pistol, muzzle loader, or archery equipment. PBGSO can put you on top notch exotics that will most likely score very well in the record books. Most of these exotic hunts are conducted in the Hill Country region of Texas which is a close pickup from the San Antonio or Austin airports. We do have a few ranches in North, South and West Texas available to hunt if you can not make a trip to the Hill Country. We have a very high standard for the quality of exotic animals we allow our clients to harvest. This is evident in our exotic photo album. Most exotics harvested are in the upper end of the trophy category, Gold medal type at no additional charge. Exotic Meat Hunts
We will be offering a small number of exotic meat hunts every year mainly in the spring, summer, and fall. Most common exotic does are available free range if you do not wish to hunt inside a high fence. We require a minimum of 2 hunters for 2 days on this hunt. We have a 100% success rate on our exotic meat hunts. Most basic species such as axis, fallow, and sika have a trophy fee of $300.00 red stag hinds or cows $500.00-$650.00, elk cows are $750+, and bison cows $1250.00.
Scimitar Horned Oryx (specials)
PBGSO will be offering a discount for Scimitar Horned Oryx cows first come first serve. We have a couple of ranches with excess numbers of Scimitar and we are offering this 2 day hunt with one nights lodging for $1500.00. We can take groups of up to 5 on this hunt. There are some very large cows over 40 inches available.
West Texas Free Range Aoudad Hunt
We will be offering 10-15 free range Aoudad hunts per year in the mountains of West Texas. These Aoudad hunts are structured as a 5 day all inclusive package priced at $4000.00 for our basic package which we average in the 28-30 inch range. For our Trophy Free Range Package we have taken rams up to 38 inches and have a 34 inch average. This is also a 5 day all inclusive hunt package for $5500.00. On this hunt you can harvest 1 mature aoudad ram and we have a 100% success rate on this hunt. We require a 50% deposit to book dates in advance. As stated we only offer a small number of these hunts each year so it is recommended to book well in advance.
Hill Country Free Range Aoudad Hunt
PBGSO will be offering a small number of free range Aoudad hunts on our 2500 acre lease near Utopia Texas. The cost of a 3 day all inclusive package is $2500.00. On this hunt you can harvest 1 mature aoudad ram and we have a 100% success rate on this hunt. We require a 50% deposit to book dates in advance. As stated we only offer a small number of these hunts each year so it is recommended to book well in advance.
South Texas Free Range Nilgai Hunt
